Demo day

Next Tuesday is our PING Demo day. We have had excellent uptake on this so far with only a couple of spots left, please book in ASAP if you would like to come along.

This years G Series line has been one of the best performing products this year, as such we are confident you will be equally impressed!

The PING fitter will have all products for both men and ladies so if there is something you would like to try please let us know.

We have also arranged a small 'goodie bag' of PING items for one lucky tester to win. This will be drawn at random from anyone attending on the day. It is a completely FREE day with no obligation to buy, we would love to hear your feedback on the products!

Click here to book your place.

Tour news

This week is the start of the US Open at Oakmont, always an interesting event! With scoring usually high and the course set extremely difficult it makes us all feel a little bit better about our game watching the Pro's make high scores. Here's some interesting facts about this weeks course...

The course originally played as a Par 80 with eight par fives and a par six. The course is now a par 70 however the last US Open in 2007 there were 60 rounds over 80!

The course at Oakmont has 210 bunkers, that's 88 more than the Old Course at St Andrews.

Oakmont is the home to the longest Par 3 in US Open History, measuring 288yds it plays 30 yards longer than our first hole and that's a Par 4!

The last US Open at Oakmont was won with a score of 5 over par with every hole averaging over par for the week.

So, who's is your pick??

Steve - Jason Day
Jack - Billy Horschel
Lester - Jordan Spieth

Is this golf's toughest Major venue?

Here's a stat for you:

The entire field broke par just eight times during all four days in 2007
