FANTASY FOOTBALL LEAGUE - Join NOW!
With the football league kicking off within the next 2 weeks, the countdown has begun for our shop Fantasy League! With great fun and some serious banter had between entrants last year we are hoping to get even more entered this time around. Entry is just £10 with the pot being split between the top placed at the end of the year. Several have already signed up so make sure you enter to avoid disappointment!
It is great fun and adds and extra level of excitement watching the results throughout the year. Players are avoided points on an individual basis for goals, assists, clean sheets and time played. Tactics certainly come into play with your team selection!
If you would like to join the website is http://fantasy.premierleague.com and the code for our league is 293032-90912. If you have any problems signing up please let one of us in the shop know and we will happily talk you through it!
Well done to Dave Eva for scoring an impressive 42 points (4 under gross) in the recent club competition (All comers Cup).
Dave has had his handicap halved to 1 and picked up more silver wear to add to a very large collection. Dave was using his recently purchased Callaway Hybrid during this round.
Elsewhere the final major of the season was concluded at the weekend with 37 year old American Jimmy Walker becoming the fourth different and fourth first time major winner in this calendar year. Having not won for 187 events, the world number 15 pocketed a cool $1.8 million. This really shows us the dept and strength of professional golf currently, anyone teeing it up can win.
