Welcome to this week's newsletter. We start this week by congratulating our new Club Champion Steve 'Spike' Pike. The men's Club Championships is a medal competition played over 36 holes on the same day.
The morning round was a little windy but Kevin Mingo lead the field at lunchtime with an excellent 69 Gross just 2 shots ahead of Steve Pike.
The wind increased for the afternoon round and it would seem that most of the field found it harder going for the second round. But Steve came in with a Gross 75 and sadly Kevin slipped back into second place with an afternoon round of 82.
The Nett competition was also won by Steve Pike with a score of 144 with Keith Crawford and Jamie Johnson in joint second with Nett scores of 147
Well done to all those who played!
