Beginners lessons

I thought I would start this week's newsletter with a request!

As I am sure you are aware we are keen to encourage New Members to join our fantastic Club. With the success from the Thurlestone Junior Academy over the past few years our attention has turned to encouraging some adult golfers into the game. To address this we have set up some Beginners Golf lessons starting this Autumn.

What has this go to do with me? I hear you ask. Well, I thought that before these lessons are advertised to the wider world we should really start by asking you, the members, if you have any friends or family who you think would like to learn to play some golf?

There will be a maximum of 8 people in each of the groups on the 6 week course (dates listed below). In the 1 hour lessons we will cover the basics of Set-Up and Swing, Chipping, Pitching and Putting and even playing a hole on the course.

This the perfect way to ‘Get into Golf’ with others who have a similar ability. All equipment will be provided and we are even subsidising the cost of the lessons at only £35 per person.

With only 8 places in each of the groups we are expecting these places to go fast so if you know someone who might be interested in this fantastic offer please contact us here in the pro shop to book a place.
