We have a challenge for you...

We have had a fantastic response to last week's newsletter about the benefits on fittings and the ‘value’ in new clubs. It’s certainly created a buzz about the new products. We have a large amount of new stock arriving at the moment and, with the Callaway and TaylorMade launches coming, we thought it would be a fantastic chance to put them to the test!

So this week we would love to challenge YOU!

We are looking for 10 volunteers who would like to put their current clubs to the test! We are offering 10 FREE fitting spots and will also include a FREE sleeve of balls to each of the 10 people who take part as a thank you for your time. We will be posting the results of each of these fittings in the following week's newsletter for all to see (good or bad) so you must be happy for us to do this. Complete transparency!

We are always shaping and moulding our stock choices in store to try and suit the membership, events like this certainly help us to improve our knowledge of the clubs, what products are worth stocking and what works well for certain golfers as such it would be a great to hear peoples thoughts!

Are you wasting silly shots?

Then why not book a playing lesson!

Golf lessons are not just about the technical side of golf. In fact, if you watch the pro’s week in and week out you can hear the many different conversations golfers have with their caddies and coaches. It’s one thing improving technique, but so many golfers could make a huge difference to their game with a simple course management session.

Playing lessons cover many different aspects of the game from club selection, shot selection and also difficult lies, something certainly not found in the swing room! It is also great to get out in some slightly worse conditions to really put it all to the test and think about different ways to be inventive with your game.

For the remainder of February we will be offering a 1 hour playing lesson for just £50 and we can tailor this to any particular holes on the course you prefer. So if a certain hole is your nemesis, let us know!

Worth a go...

New drivers, irons and wedges seem to hog the limelight around this time of the year but they would be nothing without a ball to hit. Although often a little overlooked, having the right ball in your armoury is going to give you a big advantage out on the course.

Mizuno's new RB 566 and 566V golf balls

A lot of you won't be too familiar with Mizuno's golf ball range, but they've been producing some great options for a little while now.

The two balls above are new for 2020 and feature bespoke dimple patterns to offer the golfer something a little different.

For example, the RB 566 has a micro-dimple design for a longer and more stable flight, whilst the RB 566V has a D-Dimple pattern for more feel and improved ball speed.
