Having played on the course over the past few weeks it is noticeable that the bunkers are suffering with having no rakes to smooth them over.

We may have just the solution for those who wish to smooth the sand after use. The answer is your own personal rake. We now have in stock the MINI-RAKE.

The new MINI-RAKE comes in three colours, Green, Blue and Pink. It easily attaches to your golf bag with a clip which is provided and is extremely durable.

The MINI-RAKE is really simple to use.

After taking your bunker shot, simply place the MINI-RAKE onto the shaft of your sand wedge.

Slide MINI-RAKE along the sand wedge shaft and on to the rubber grip until it stops. The clever design will ensure your club now mimics a small bunker rake.

Rake the bunker in the normal way.

Slide the MINI-RAKE back up the shaft to remove.

Thoughts for the course

Bad habits are a rite of passage for every golfer. Unfortunately, we don’t always grow out of them… Especially when it comes to driving. Believe it or not, smashing the ball as far as possible is as much about technique as it is, well, smashing it.

One of the most common homemade solutions for poor driving is to swing downwards onto the ball at impact. This does more harm than good. Yes, you want to hit downwards with your irons, but this is NOT the case for drivers.

Other than having a driver tailored to your swing, the easiest way to improve your driving is to strike the ball on an upwards arc. It's a mixture of a good body position, correct ball position as well as your angle of attack - three things we can help you with!
