TaylorMade fitting day success...

The recent TaylorMade fitting day was a great success with 10 out of 10 players managing to improve on their current clubs!

One particular highlight was a 30 yard gain to one lady's driver which certainly brought a smile to her face and will certainly make her game easier.

Don't worry if you missed the day as we have a comprehensive fitting kit in our studio which can help you to improve your game.

Special Congratulations!

Congratulations to Dean and Vinny Lowden who narrowly beat Jonathan and Sammy Ingham 2&1 in the Final of the 2019 Adult/Junior Foursomes.

It's been a long time since this competition first started but the final was right down to the wire with both pairs playing very well. Regardless of who won I think you can see a couple of very proud Dads!

Lots of you are playing more regular golf now than you ever have done before. This is great and we're certainly not complaining!

Being a single-figure golfer, there's a good chance that at least one club in your bag has been fitted to suit your swing. We're big advocates of custom fitting when it comes to purchasing new clubs and would encourage you to go through the process again if you're considering an upgrade to your set.

Whilst many of you have been custom fitted before, your specs are likely to alter over time as your swing changes.

This is the best bit about the fitting experience - trying out the latest products from multiple brand until you find the one you prefer.

A recent survey highlighted that nearly a quarter of golfers who haven’t been custom fitted before believe that they are not good enough to go through the fitting process. We're incredibly passionate about finding the best clubs for your game - no matter your golfing ability or experience - and an enjoyable fitting experience is the most effective way to do this and help you improve as a golfer.

Consistency is key

It’s nice to be able to hit the ball further and more accurately, and a custom fitting will help with that, but the main thing is to be more consistent so that your bad shots are few and far between.

This is the most enjoyable part for any golfer - trying out the latest equipment from different brands. It's not just about what performs best, but also about what you prefer in both looks and feel.

Once we have a club that you particularly like, we'll look at the finer details with you so it's perfectly set-up for your game. We appreciate it's a big purchase, so we want to ensure you walk away happy.

Making life easier off the tee

The average golfer will use their driver between 10-13 times per round. That means between 50-75% of holes are relying on that one club for a good start. But how do you ensure you get that good start?

Finding the right driver

First things first, if you want to find the fairway with more regularity then you need to feel comfortable with your driver. This game is made so much easier when we're confident in playing the shot at hand.
