Welcome to this week's newsletter. We start this week with the announcement that after eight years at Thurlestone Golf Club my Assistant Professional, Pete Mitchell, will be leaving us at the end of June. Pete has been offered a fantastic opportunity to work with his father and brother in developing a Golf Driving Range business in Newbury, Berkshire. 

Pete's new role will be to head up the Coaching at this new range and develop a new Junior Academy, which is an area that Pete is obviously passionate about. 

Obviously, anyone who has any outstanding lessons here at Thurlestone should contact Pete as soon as possible to get their remaining lessons booked in. 

I'm sure you will join me in wishing Pete and his young family all the very best for the future. 



Congratulations to our Palairet Team who won 3 matches to 2 against opponents Libbaton at Staddon Heights Golf Club last weekend. 

As the score suggests, it was a very closely run match and it was Mark Chapman and young George Holland who managed to win the match on the 20th hole. Well done boys and good luck against Downes Crediton at Stover on 5th July.
